A little bit about Lauren Jansons...

​My name is Lauren Jansons. I was born in the Cape of South Africa and spent my educational years in the UK.

I studied Digital Animation at Falmouth University (2010-2013) were I studied mixed media animation, being taught in stop motion, 2D, 3D and motion capture. I spesilized my skills within pre production design and 2D animation.

Once I graduated I worked with a fellow student in creating an animation workshop based company inwhich we travelled around the south west of England attending festivals, schools and colleges teaching the basics of stop motion animation and how easy it is to do at home without expensive softwares and cameras.

I worked in a couple of studios as both freelance and as an intern in the UK, Ireland and South Africa.

I currently live in Johannesburg were I work within animation and design.

I also work as a freelance artist on the side selling my limited edition prints and art pieces as well as upcycling and hand designing shoes for everything from wedding shoes to casual shoes.
